HD and HDX Burners
15 through 50 million BTU input
MULTI-FUEL PACKAGED REGISTER BURNERS
BACKGROUND
Webster has been manufacturing large capacity burners for more that half a century. Over the years, Webster has continued to advance the development of our combustion technology to incorporate design innovations targeted to meet industry demands. Webster's recent innovations in mid-range combustion equipment incorporates venturi throat technology to enhance performance plus individually adjustable register vanes for flame shaping capability.
These innovations have received wide acceptance for applications in the 15 through 50 million BTUH input range, and to date, Webster is the only burner company offering these features in a UL packaged burner. Low NOx technology utilizing flue gas recirculation and internal combustion gas recirculation have added practical and affordable solutions to many application where lower NOx emissions are required to meet state or federal air quality criteria.
Ongoing research and development by Webster's staff of experienced combustion engineers assures you the most up-to-date technology available for your industrial applications.
COMBUSTION HEAD
Webster's patented Cyclonetic combustion head design will adapt to fire in most combustion environments. This exclusive flame retention head maintains stable and efficient combustion in a wide variety of conditions. The burner head is manufactured from high quality stainless steel to afford many years of trouble free service, and the combustion head is completely removable from outside of the furnace area for added serviceability.
Webster's HD series burners adapt readily to boiler and furnace frontplates and can be installed vertical, horizontal, left or right to accommodate on-site conditions. The HD series combustion head is capable of utilizing natural gas, LP, or low BTU content gases as well as, or in combination with, all commercially available grades of fuel oil and qualified waste oils.
EVERY WEBSTER HD SERIES BURNER IS TEST FIRED IN A BOILER PRIOR TO SHIPMENT
Every Webster burner is test fired in an appropriate lab boiler as close to indicated field conditions as possible. A written fire test report, signed by the lab technician, is shipped with each burner and indicates to start-up people the appropriate settings for firing rate ordered. Our customers tell us that this additional quality control feature of the Webster manufacturing process has saved many hours of service time at start-up . . . It saves you money!
