FDR and FDRX Burners
15 through 200 million BTU input
MULTI-FUEL BURNERS
INDUSTRIAL USE - HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTIONWebster model FDR burners feature a sturdy windbox built from heavy gauge mild steel, at least 1/4" thick. A tile centering ring allows for proper positioning of the refractory tile, and multiple internal cross braces keep vibration to a minimum. Model FDR windbox units are designed for low combustion air velocities and balanced air distribution to the burner, and each unit includes a hinged door for easy access to the interior of the register assembly for added serviceability. |
REGISTERThe Webster model FDR register burners utilize a multivane, circular register assembly with curved louvers for precision distribution and control of high volume combustion air. By adjusting the register door position, the air can be rotated in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. This rotating combustion air ensures that the fuel and air are thoroughly mixed before they enter the combustion zone. The result is complete, efficient lower excess air combustion. |
FDRX
HIGH EFFICIENCY LOW NOx REGISTER BURNERS
PARALLEL INPUT TECHNOLOGY
Typically, forced or induced flue gas recirculation is implemented with larger capacity combustion equipment to slow down the heat released from oxidation of the fuel and spread that release over a large area of the flame. This reduces high concentrations of intensified heat, which retards the formation of thermal NOx.
The Webster FDRX Low NOx Register Equipment is designed to introduce flue gases at the base of the flame parallel to and adjacent with the fuel input. This maximizes the reduction of thermal NOx while using the minimum amount of recirculated flue gases.
The precise injection of a small percentage of flue gases into the flame maintains the highest possible combustion efficiency with excellent flame stability and lowers NOx emissions to compliance levels in most applications.
